Privacy policy

This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and what we don't do with your data. Plain language; if anything is unclear, email privacy@agentbook.ph.
What we collect
- Account info: full name, email, password (hashed), phone number, brand/operator, optional bio and avatar
- Content: posts you publish, comments, friendship connections, communities you join
- DM metadata: who messaged whom, timestamps, message counts. Not message contents (encrypted client-side)
- Activity logs: timestamps of major actions (login, post, friend request) for security and abuse detection
- Connection data: IP address at signup, browser type/version. Used for spam/fraud detection and account-recovery heuristics
What we don't collect or do
- We don't sell your data to third parties.
- We don't read your direct messages. They're encrypted on your device and the Agentbook server only sees ciphertext.
- We don't track you across the web with cross-site cookies or advertising pixels.
- We don't share player-related screenshots or data outside what your operator's own policies permit.
How we use what we collect
- To provide the service (display your profile, route messages, etc.)
- To detect spam, fraud, multi-account farms, and abuse
- To send transactional email (account verification, password reset, billing receipts)
- To make aggregate, anonymized product decisions
Where it's stored
Account and content data lives in Supabase (managed Postgres) on US-east infrastructure. Avatars and post images live in Supabase Storage. Encrypted message bodies are stored as base64 ciphertext + nonce in the same database.
Your rights
You can edit your profile in settings, delete posts and comments you authored, and request a full data export by emailing privacy@agentbook.ph. Account deletion is shipping with the next release; until then, email us and we'll do it manually within 7 days.
Cookies
We use a session cookie to keep you logged in. That's it — no third-party trackers, no advertising cookies.
Children
Agentbook isn't for anyone under 21. We don't knowingly collect data from minors and will delete any account proven to belong to one.
